The XDiavel Nera Edition, a collaboration between Ducati and Poltrona Frau’s Interiors, has been introduced. High-end furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau previously collaborated with Ducati on the Ducati Scrambler Club Italia project.
The new XDiavel Nera is distinguished by its “Black on Black” paintwork, which alternates gloss and matt black sections. This paint makes the XDiavel more sporty, and it’s mirrored in a special jet helmet that XDiavel Nera owners may order along with the bike. The Ducati Red brake calipers and engine head covers, as well as the lightened and fully machined forged wheels painted in gloss black, add to the bike’s athletic character.
The XDiavel Nera is powered by the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, which is known for its relaxed pace at low speeds and sporty riding performance. It produces 160 hp at 9,500 rpm and 13.0 kgm at 5,000 rpm. The Euro5-compliant engine delivers smooth acceleration at low revs and a flat torque profile at higher revs.
The new XDiavel is framed in tubular steel. The bike’s frame, the saddle’s lowered height from the ground, and the forward position of the footpegs are all designed to provide excellent riding ease and pleasure when traveling at low speeds in perfect relaxation while still providing maximum excitement when riding sportily. The tubular steel trellis frame, front and rear suspension, and chassis dimensions all contribute to the front axle’s agility and controllability, resulting in startling handling.
All new XDiavel come standard with cornering ABS and Brembo monobloc M50 calipers, as well as two 320 mm front discs and a single 265 mm rear disc.
The XDiavel Nera is equipped with a Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), which provides information to ABS Cornering by dynamically measuring the roll and pitch angles, as well as the speed of the relative set-up fluctuations. This system, in conjunction with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes, Cruise Control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL), contributes to the XDiavel Nera’s technological advancement, great performance, and safety. The bike’s outstanding appearance is enhanced by full LED illumination and daytime LED DRL lighting.
The XDiavel Nera’s adjustable footpegs and handlebars come in a variety of shapes. The XDiavel Nera is available in a variety of seat colors and is limited to 500 units in a numbered series.
