The Bentley Continental GT Azure is a convertible version of the Bentley Continental GT luxury grand tourer.
It was first introduced in 2006 as a limited edition model, and only 101 units were produced.
The Azure features a retractable fabric roof that can be lowered or raised in just 25 seconds, and it is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 552 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 195 mph.
Bentley’s 48V active anti-roll control technology is standard on the Continental GT Azure. This system improves ride comfort and limits roll, resulting in trips that are smoother and more enjoyable. When necessary, the system electronically decouples the anti-roll bars in order to smooth out the ride. When cornering, the system then applies up to 1300 Nm of anti-roll torque in 0.3 seconds in order to keep the body flat and stable. This protects the driver and the passengers from being subjected to an excessive amount of movement.
A setup that is soft, supple, and tuned makes for relaxed driving, and little body roll during heavy cornering is essential to achieving this. The chassis that is produced as a result of the combination of this system and the three-chamber air springs is one that is not only capable of excellent dynamic performance but also very comfortable.
The interior of the Bentley Continental GT Azure is luxurious and spacious, with hand-stitched leather seats and a premium audio system. The exterior features the signature Bentley grille and sleek, aerodynamic lines. The engine is positioned further back to improve weight distribution, resulting in a driver-focused, dynamic performance. The Azure is a symbol of luxury and performance, and it is a popular choice among car enthusiasts and collectors.
