The SUV coupé’s robust character is highlighted by the updated exterior appearance, which includes new front and rear aprons. Customers who want greater sportiness might opt for the optional S line exterior kit. Audi is providing the Q8 for the first time with HD Matrix LED headlights, which include a laser as an additional high beam. These headlights have digital daytime running lights with light signatures that can be changed. The enhanced light offering is completed with digital OLED rear lights with four configurable rear light configurations. The car’s top position among the Q models is highlighted by new wheels, colors, ornate inlays, and seats with contrast stitching. The 2018 Audi Q8 has a starting price of 86,700 euros.

A variety of powertrains are offered, beginning with the 45 TDI Quattro, a three-liter diesel engine with 170 kW (231 PS) of output and 500 Nm of torque. The 50 TDI Quattro, with 210 kW (286 PS) and 600 Nm of torque, is a more powerful version. The Audi Q8 55 TFSI4 is powered by a three-liter Otto engine with direct fuel injection that produces 250 kW (340 PS). It can produce a maximum torque of 500 Nm.

The Audi Q8’s V6 engines are paired with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, quattro permanent four-wheel drive, and a mild hybrid system that can achieve a fuel-consumption advantage of up to 0.5 liters per 100 kilometers in normal use.
