Toyota, Suzuki and Daihatsu unveiled a prototype mini-commercial van equipped with a jointly developed BEV system.

Suzuki

The three firms worked together to build a BEV system that is suited for mini-commercial vehicles. This was accomplished by combining Suzuki’s and Daihatsu’s experience in the production of automobiles of a small size with Toyota’s knowledge in the field of electrification. The result was the introduction of a BEV mini-commercial van.

Daihatsu

Within fiscal 2023, Suzuki, Daihatsu, and Toyota will all introduce their own versions of the vehicles, which will be manufactured by Daihatsu. Development is presently underway with the goal of producing a vehicle that can completely meet the expectations of clients in the delivery industry. The cruising range on a single charge is anticipated to be around 200 kilometers.
