Yui, an onboard artificial intelligence agent in the LQ, provides a customized mobility experience based on the driver’s emotional state and level of attentiveness. It also incorporates automated driving capabilities and an automated valet parking system developed in collaboration with Panasonic.

The BEV concept features an Augmented Reality Head’s Up Display (AR-HUD), seats with several inflated air bladders built into the seat, and an in-seat air conditioning system to keep the driver alert or comfortable depending on the driving scenario.

The LQ cabin features a futuristic, forward-projecting silhouette that places Yui in the center of the instrument panel, with lines extending from the interior to the exterior of the car. The outer doors contain glass that integrates smoothly to the vehicle’s interior, producing an integrated and attractive design.
