Nissan produced affordable sports cars known as Z cars in the 1960s. Nissan Fairlady Z was the first Z car to be introduced in 1969. However, for export purposes, Nissan renamed it the Datsun 240Z.

The Datsun 240Z had a 2-liter SOHC straight six engine that produced 130 horsepower. To pay homage to the original Z car, independent artist Piston Zero created the Datsun 420Z, which features the sculpted exterior and signature Z rear. Nissan’s design team should take a look at this breathtakingly beautiful design.
