The KTM RC 8C, the track focused hand built motorcycle is refreshed for 2023.

With upgraded electronics and lighter construction, the 2023 KTM RC 8C has a new LC8c engine that has been specifically optimized for the circuit. The new, lighter titanium pistons and conrods, two piston rings, greater compression ratios, a larger throttle body, and a strengthened fuel pump/pressure are all used in the LC8c engine, which has a 135 hp rating, an increase of 7 hp over the previous engine. Other noteworthy characteristics include an increase in clutch preload, removal of the top balancer, adjustment of the crankcase balancer shaft, and addition of the PANKL oil cooler.

The 2023 KTM RC 8C only weighs 142 kilograms. A CrMo4 steel frame and lighter weight improve the motorcycle’s overall agility. The new RC 8C is outfitted with a WP APEX PRO suspension system and a brand-new titanium Akrapovic exhaust system.

The improved electronics package and redesigned dashboard with a GPS data-logger will flash-up lap record attempts, and the handlebar switches from the KTM RC16 give the rider’s left thumb complete control as the left foot stomps through the race QUICKSHIFTER+ reverse pattern.
