Hyundai Motor unveiled the all-new sport utility electric vehicle (SUEV) SEVEN concept – part of IONIC brand at LA auto show.

“The SEVEN concept demonstrates Hyundai’s creative vision and advanced technological development for our electrified mobility future,” said José Muñoz, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America.

An electric-global modular platform (E-GMP) developed by Hyundai Motor Group serves as the basis for the seven-seat concept. The large wheelbase and flat platform floor of the E-GMP allow for a new kind of vehicle that provides customers with novel experiences.

Its low hood, streamlined roof, and lengthy wheelbase communicate its powerful and tough stance in the SEVEN concept. Start-up light sequence provided by IONIQ’s unique Parametric Pixels. All of SEVEN’s home appliances are designed to work with the Universal Island console, as well as its Smart Hub visual user interface. In the vision roof, passengers can customize the content displayed on a panoramic screen to their preferences.
