Ducati launched the all-new Sports Tourer Multistrada V4 S Pikes Peak.

Multistrada V4 S Pikes Peak

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is powered by the 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, capable of delivering 170 hp @ 10,500 rpm and 92.2 lb-ft @ 8,750 rpm guaranteeing high performance in sporty riding thanks to new electronic management strategies. It features 17″ wheels with sports tyres, single-sided swingarm, Öhlins suspension, the new Race Riding Mode and a dedicated riding position.

A racing approach for the rev limiter and quickshifter, which allows for faster gear shifting and exceptionally aggressive downshifts and direct throttle response in High Power Mode enhances the sporty character of the bike. The V4 Pikes Peak is the first Multistrada ever to be equipped with electronic Smart EC 2.0 Öhlins suspension found in Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter V4 S. The Smart EC 2.0 system allows “event based” adjustment.

Functional touches to the classic Pikes Peak styling cues like the 17-inch front wheel and single-sided swingarm. The forged aluminum wheels aids in reducing the overall weight compared to Multistrada V4/V4S. Pikes Peak is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Tires – 120/70-17 at front 190/55-17 at rear. Braking system is derived from Panigale V4 with 13 inch diameter discs and Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers at front and a single 10.4 inch diameter disc with a Brembo floating caliper at the rear.

The new electronics suite were designed with inspiration from supersport riding. Among these is the incorporation of Riding Mode Race, which is capable of operating on the vehicle’s primary electronic systems to optimize performance. These are simply managed via the backlit handlebar controls and joystick, as well as the 6.5-inch TFT dashboard, which features optical bonding technology for optimal visibility both day and night.

With the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, you’ll also get the Multistrada V4 S’s modern and sophisticated electronics package. This includes, among other things, radar front-and-rear technology, which makes it possible to use ACC and Blind Spot Detection while driving (BSD).

Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features 4-riding modes – Race, Sport, Touring, Urban. Race riding mode offers the maximum engine and chassis performance. The throttle response is much more immediate and responsive. In Urban ride set up the power output is reduced to a maximum of 115 HP, and suspension is set for optimum agility. Other features are Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control , Ducati Traction Control, Vehicle Hold Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Hands Free ignition enabling the rider to start the bike using a dedicated button while keeping the key in his pocket.

The new livery with number plates on both sides, inspired by the motifs of the Desmosedici GP ’21, gives the vehicle a sportier appearance. When viewed from above, the “V4” logo can be seen on the passenger seat.

Full LED headlights, DRLs, and cornering lights are standard on the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. It incorporates the Ducati Brake Light function, which initiates the flashing of the light in the event of sudden braking to notify the sudden deceleration of the bike. Due to the auto shut-off technology, the direction indicators, which are also LEDs, switch off after they have been used.
