Genesis, the luxury arm of South Korean car maker Hyundai unveiled the X Speedium Coupe Concept at the 2022 New York Auto Show. Based on last year’s X concept the X Speedium Coupe is named after the Inje Speedium race track in South Korea.
The concept’s metallic emerald color scheme dubbed as “Inje Green” is inspired by the racetrack and its lush green surroundings. “This car is an open-door moment in Genesis’ journey towards our future EV design. This isn’t a show car – it’s a look into our design processes as we explore ideas for the next wave of EVs, one that incorporates Genesis’ DNA” says Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer of Genesis.
