The Toyota Crown, the flagship luxury sedan of Toyota in Japanese market is refreshed for 2023.
New Toyota Crown, in it’s 16th generation will be offered in four different versions, starting with a crossover, an SUV, estate and a sedan.
Crown crossover scheduled to go into production by January 2023 features a stylish coupe like design with elevated stance projecting the sportiness of the vehicle. Two types of powertrains are available – a hybrid system powering the crossover model which combines a 2.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine and an electric system fed by newly-developed bipolar nickel-hydrogen battery pack and a hybrid system combining an inline 4-cylinder turbo engine along with eAxle electric powertrain fed by bipolar nickel-hydrogen battery pack.
Advanced safety package, Toyota Safety Sense is standard on all Crown grades. Crown crossover is equipped with Toyota Teammate, an advanced driver assistance suite supports driving safe driving in traffic congestion and automatic parking and exiting from parking space in a variety of parking situations and can be operated remotely as well.
A total of 12 body color and four interior color combinations are on offer including the newly developed “Precious Bronze” and “Precious Ray”.
