The GR650 is a two cylinder motorcycle marketed by Suzuki from 1983 to 1989.

GR650 also known as GR650 Tempter is powered by 652cc DOHC parallel twin mated with a five speed transmission generating 49 hp @ 7,200 rpm and 45 lb-ft of peak torque @ 3,500 rpm.

The parallel twin is equipped with two valves per cylinder and a 180 degree counter balancer with wet sump. The five speed transmission channels power via a wet multi plate. The front suspension is 35mm air assisted forks and the rear the suspension duties are performed by a single shock absorber with adjustable pre-load.

GR650 has a claimed top speed of 161 Kmph. Stopping power is provided by single disc at the front and expanding brake at the rear. The middle-weight twin is known for its excellent mid range power and torque assisted by the swirl inducing air-jets, small air intake and cam timing.

This exotic Japanese twin is a soothing sight for custom builders around the world. Here we have a custom GR650 from the eighties built by Custom bike garage Cool Kid Customs based in Haarlem, Netherlands.
