BMW has expanded its M range with the addition of all new ultra sporty M5 CS. CS models are exclusive special edition versions made in limited numbers.
The BMW M5 CS boasts one of the most powered engine in the history of BMW M. The 4.4-litre V8 engine shells out 467 kW/635 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm of torque within 1,800 – 5,950 rpm mated with a eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, which also offers a 2WD mode for pure rear-wheel drive.
M5 CS sprints from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds, and from 0 – 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.3 seconds. Top speed is an electronically limited 305 km/h (189 mph).
The new BMW M5 CS features M Carbon seats in the front and two individual rear seats at the rear. These luxurious seats are covered in black Merino leather with contrasting panels and decorative stitching in Mugello Red. M Alcantara steering wheel features spokes in black chrome trim with carbon fiber paddle shifters.
Black Merino leather covered centre console replaces the usual armrest with opening lid.
The L-shaped Laser headlights illuminate yellow instead of white when low beam, high beam or the Welcome Light is switched on.
The bonnet, front splitter, exterior mirror caps, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, M Power engine compartment cover and intake silencer are made from carbon fibre-reinforced plastic.
M5 CS is equipped with stainless-steel sports exhaust system with four unadorned tailpipes and the M Carbon ceramic brakes, whose callipers are painted in Red as standard or Gold as an option.
