With an exclusive twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine rated at more than 400 horsepower, a 10-speed SelectShiftTM automatic transmission tuned to Ford Performance standards, a Raptor HOSS 4.0 race-ready suspension system, a fully boxed, high-strength steel frame, and standard 37-inch all-terrain tires, the Bronco Raptor delivers extreme Built WildTM capability and durability.

The new Bronco Raptor has a fully boxed, high-strength steel chassis with revised shock towers that boost wheel travel and off-road durability. Heavy-duty bash and skid plates protect the entire driveline, including the engine, transmission, and transfer case, from the front bumper to the back. Using B-pillar crossbars and C-pillar strengthening, the upper body’s torsional rigidity is increased by more than half over the normal Bronco four-door.

A three-mode sophisticated 4×4 system includes a larger-capacity clutch engineered to handle the rigors of high-performance desert competitions. Additionally, the modified transfer case boasts a 3.06 4×4 LO ratio for a crawl ratio of up to 67.7:1.

Ford Performance cooperated with FOX to include Live Valve technology into the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) system. Similar to the F-150 Raptor’s position-sensitive damping design, the Raptor HOSS 4.0 system utilizes FOX 3.1 Internal Bypass Semi-Active Dampers that are adjusted differently in the front and rear and include integrated reservoirs in the front and remote reservoirs in the rear. Suspension height sensors and other sensors located at each corner continuously monitor and alter suspension tune based on terrain conditions.

The Bronco Raptor comes standard with 17-inch x 8.5-inch beadlock-capable Ford Performance wheels and 37-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires (37×12.50R17LT). The rack and housing for the electronic power steering are identical to those found on the F-150 Raptor. With four customizable exhaust modes, including Normal, Sport, Quiet, and Baja, the exhaust system lets drivers to customize the sound of their Bronco Raptor.

Modes of the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Off-road navigation is facilitated with the Terrain Management System. Seven driver-selectable modes are included, including a specially tuned Baja Mode that triggers a turbo anti-lag calibration to optimize performance during high-speed desert drives. Tow/Haul mode is new to Bronco, enabling a towing capacity of 4,500 pounds, an increase of 1,000 pounds over the standard model. Also incorporated are Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist, and Trail One-Pedal Driving.
