The Polestar 3 electric SUV is finally unveiled.

Polestar 3 has a dual-motor setup with a maximum output of 571 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of peak torque. 3 has an electric torque vectoring dual clutch feature on the rear axle as well as an adjustable one-pedal drive. Under certain conditions, a decoupling mechanism for the rear electric motor enables the vehicle to run solely on the front electric motor to conserve energy.

A 111 kWh battery pack gives Polestar 3 an estimated 610 Km of driving range. In order to use ambient heat for climate control and battery preconditioning, Polestar 3 comes equipped with a heat pump. The 21-inch alloy wheels, retractable door handles with proximity sensing, full-length panoramic glass roof, all-LED interior and exterior lighting, air suspension, and these features are standard across the board. The Bowers & Wilkins 25-speaker audio system with 3D surround sound and Dolby Atmos capability, soft-closing doors, a head-up display, and Pilot Assist are just a few of the high-end, luxury, and convenience features included in the Plus Pack and Pilot Pack, which are fitted as standard for the first model year.

Three cameras, four ultrasonic sensors, cleaning for the front- and rear-view cameras, and an additional NVIDIA control unit are all included in the optional Pilot Pack with LiDAR from Luminar. This package adds accurate real-time data about the car’s surroundings, particularly in the long-range field. This makes it possible to more thoroughly scan the environment around the automobile in 3D and helps the vehicle become ready for autonomous driving.

Available to order from the second quarter of 2023 the Polestar 3 Long range Dual motor costs an indicative launch price of EUR 89,900.
