Italian auto maker De Tomaso has unveiled an extreme track only hyper car dubbed P 900.
The P 900 based on the retro inspired P12 hyper car made in 2019 is powered by a 6.2 liter V12 belting out monstrous 900 hp runs on synthetic fuel which revs up to 12,000 rpm.
The $3 million hyper car is limited to just 18 units and expected to be on sale in 2014. However P 900 equipped with De Tomaso’s F1 derived 5.0 liter V10 is available prior to 2024.
“As a passionate automotive enthusiast, it is difficult for me to accept a silent EV-driven future,” said Norman Choi, De Tomaso CEO, in a statement. “We believe that alternatives do exist, and the development of our new platform, driven by synthetic fuels, is our solution for keeping this shared passion for the theatre of combustion engines alive.”
