MG Motor shared teaser images of it’s electric roadster prototype prior to it’s launch at Shanghai Auto Show later this month.
The stunning two-door, two-seater sports car features an electric power train capable to launch it from 0-100Kmph in less than 3 seconds. The roadster has range of 800Km in a single charge. Design is based on the classic MGB Roadster which features classic round MG headlights in tandem with a slim grille. The “magic eye” headlights open when switched on. Cyberster prototype features LED tail light and an LED strip down the side of the car.
Carl Gotham, Director of SAIC Design Advanced London, said: “The Cyberster is a bold statement that looks strongly into MG’s future, touching on our heritage but more importantly building on our cutting edge technology and advanced design”. More information will be released when the model is officially unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show (April 21-28, 2021).
