With over a centenary of heritage and inspiration to draw from, the new CentroStile Benelli has managed to re-imagine one of the Pesaro firms most beloved motorcycles, the Leoncino.
This all new design from CentroStile Benelli perfectly matches the motorcycles sharp forms with harmonious lines all while excluding the pure emotion that Benelli is famous for. The all new Leoncino represents an authentic and pure hearted design concept that rediscovers the style and accessibility of the original, all while delivering a contemporary motorcycle that provides a sporty and exciting experience.
The Leoncino features an all-new 500cc twin-cylinder engine, featuring 4-valve technology and double overhead camshfafts for max power, fuel injection, and a six-speed gearbox. The twin is good for 47 hp of power and 46 nm of torque.
Double cylinder engine of Leoncino has a 6 speed manual gearbox. With both rear and front disk brakes, Benelli Leoncino also has an anti-locking braking system.
A steel-tube trellis frame surrounds the Leoncino’s engine, and provides an optimum balance of rigidity and light weight. High quality suspension – a 50mm inverted fork up front and a swingarm-monoshock setup in back – offers dual benefits: Comfortable, compliant quality and superb chassis control.
The Leoncino 500 rides on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in tyres sourced from Pirelli. Benelli is offering the Leoncino 500 in two colour options of ‘Leoncino red’ and ‘Steel Grey’.
