All-new Mercedes-AMG C63 SE gets an F1 inspired hybrid power plant replacing the throaty V8.

Mercedes-AMG

The hybrid system in AMG C63 combines the world’s most powerful production four-cylinder engine equipped with an electric turbo booster producing 469 hp at 6,750 rpm and 402 lb-ft of torque and an electric motor sits on the rear axle generating 201-hp and 236 lb-ft with a two speed gearbox. The total output is a whopping 680 hp and thunderous 1020 Nm of torque capable of accelerating from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

The drive power is transferred to the road by the completely variable all-wheel drive system AMG Performance 4MATIC+, which also has a Drift Mode for even more driving enjoyment. In addition to this, this segment’s only active rear axle steering is included as standard.
