Toyota has launched the latest iteration of it’s legendary off-roader – the Land Cruiser. All new 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 3.5 liter twin turbo engine ditching the V8 power plant. That’s a bad news for the grumpy V8 lovers.

All New Land Cruiser 300

The redesigned 300 series Land Cruiser is based on Toyota’s new GA-F platform known for light weight and increased rigidity. Toyota has achieved significant reduction in overall weight (approx 200 Kgs) of the full sizer and lowered the centre of gravity as well as improved the suspension structure.

All new Land Cruiser features E-KDSS (Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) for improved road-holding, Multi-Terrain Monitor to keep an eye on obstacles from the driver’s viewpoint and Multi Terrain Select to choose the best driving mode suiting the terrain.

The 3.5 liter V6 twin turbo churns out 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Toyota is offering an optional 3.3 liter V6 diesel twin turbo producing 304 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

New Toyota boasts class leading safety features including latest Toyota Safety Sense active safety package equipped with pre-collision system and Parking Support Brake, which helps prevent accidents by recognizing obstacles in front and back of the vehicle in a parking lot.

New Land Cruiser will be available all over the world by this summer
