The Yamaha XJR 1300 is the successor of the XJR 1200 that debuted in 1995. It was powered by a 1251cc air cooled in-line four cylinder engine producing 105 hp and 80 lb-ft of torque. Alongside standard XJR an SP version was also launched with Öhlins suspension and race derived color schemes. The dual exhaust system was replaced by a 4-2-1 in 2002. In 2004, XJR 1300 was upgraded with new wheels, catalytic converter and an immobilizer. Yamaha gave a retro makeover to XJR 1300 in 2014.
