Toyota released more images of it’s upcoming Compact Cruiser EV.
Retro inspired EV taking styling cues from now extinct but popular off-reader FJ Cruiser and first generation Land Cruiser was part of 16 electric concepts unveiled by Toyota last December showcasing its future sustainable models.
Compact Cruiser features smart sporty bumper, sculpted wheel arches, roof-rack and a ladder. Retro styled wheels, rally lights and all terrain tyres add to the ruggedness of the vehicle.
“Our research into electric vehicles has been ongoing for more than 30 years, and we’ve come a long way. After an initial phase of contact with electric vehicles, people will want zero-emission cars that speak about them and express their lifestyle. And the Compact Cruiser EV is a perfect example of that trend.” says Simon Humphries, Toyota Design Senior General Manager.
