2023 Toyota GR Corolla is getting a track only version, the Morizio Edition.
The Morizio Edition is powered by the same turbo-charged 1.6 liter producing 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. That is additional 22 lb-ft of torque compared to the standard version. Peak torque is now available between 3,250 to 4,600 rpm instead of the standard version’s 3,000 to 5,500 rpm.
Limited to just 200 units the Toyota GR Corolla Morizio Edition is equipped with close ration 6-speed manual transmission resulting in quicker acceleration. Track oriented 2-seater sheds 100 pounds of weight by removing the rear seats, rear speakers, rear window regulators, rear wiper blade, and rear wiper motor.
Toyota GR Corolla Morizio Edition will hit Toyota dealerships next year.
