Royal Enfield introduced the Interceptor 650, a parallel twin retro-styled motorcycle, in 2018. The RE Interceptor 650 is inspired by 1960s Interceptors and is powered by a wet-sump, 648 cc, air-cooled SOHC, 8v parallel twin producing 47 hp @ 7250 rpm and 52 Nm @ 5250 rpm and paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Interceptor 650 has a tubular twin-downtube cradle frame, telescopic front forks, and adjustable twin shocks at the rear. The instrument panel is a traditional analogue twin-dial with a digital fuel gauge and trip information. Disc brakes 320mm in front and 240mm in back provide braking power. The bike is lighter and more powerful than the original, with improved on and off-road handling.

Moto Classic House (MCH) in Latvia transformed an Interceptor 650 into a stunning Scrambler. It has been upgraded with a variety of genuine Royal Enfield accessories. It also has a full Zard Scrambler exhaust (12kg lighter than the original), an engine ECU booster, a motocross bike handle bar, and much more.
