Mopar unveiled Jeep CJ Surge at SEMA 2022, exploring the possibilities of BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) kits to convert gasoline powered cars and trucks into zero emission vehicles.

Designed and engineered by Mopar, the retro concept’s electric powertrain is capable of generating 266 hp fed by a 50kWh rear-mounted battery. Power is channeled to all four wheels by a 2-speed automatic transmission system.
Jeep CJ Surge Concept is equipped with 18” wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich off-road tyres. Finished in Copper Canyon paint job, the concept Jeep features a roll cage, winch, underbody protection and LED lighting.
