Honda CB1000R, one of the best looking roadster on roads gets minor updates for 2022 and a blacked out limited edition model. The 2022 CB1000R is similar to the outgoing model in terms of design and aesthetics.
Honda adds a redesigned LED headlight and new alloy wheels for the new model. The neo-retro naked motorcycle is powered by 998cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine producing 143.4 hp @ 10,500 rpm and 104 Nm @ 8,250 rpm paired with 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch.
All-new CB1000R is equipped with Throttle By Wire (TBW) including 3 preset riding modes plus a USER setting. Power (P), Engine Brake (EB) and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) work together across the presets to offer optimum benefit to the rider dependent on conditions. The exhaust transmits a raw-edged howl as revs rise.
Virtually every component of the stunning Black Edition gets black color treatment including the fork, subframe, radiator shrouds, airbox covers, front fender mounts and wheels.
Fully adjustable suspension has Showa’s upside-down Separate Function Fork (SFF) at the front and Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock at the rear. Ride comfort is further enhanced by upright riding position and ergonomic seating. Braking power is provided by dual 310mm discs in the front and a single 256mm disc at the rear controlled by dual-channel ABS.
