The first-ever BMW ALPINA XB7 combines the benefits of a spacious and luxurious Sports Activity Vehicle with superior driving dynamics, unrivalled agility, and a powerful, state-of-the-art ultra-high performance drivetrain.
The 4.4 litre V8 engine with bi-turbo charging delivers an impressive output of 457 kW (621 hp), and a maximum torque of 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) available from just 2000 rpm. The BMW ALPINA XB7 impresses with quick, linear throttle response and on-demand power delivery throughout the entire rpm range. The 8-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission with ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC has been specially designed to cope with the engine’s high torque.
The BMW ALPINA XB7 needs just 4.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph), and completes the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h (0 to 124 mph) in just 14.9 seconds. Maximum speed is limited to 290 km/h (180 mph).
The all new, stainless-steel ALPINA sport exhaust system is responsible for the BMW ALPINA XB7’s signature V8 sound. Active exhaust system flaps allow the driver to influence the sound: restrained in COMFORT mode for best possible travel comfort or clearly pronounced in SPORT mode.
XB7 boasts two-axle air suspension with ALPINA specific damper and kinematic set-up are primarily responsible for the balance of driving dynamics and ride comfort. The ride height can be lowered by a total of 40 mm (1.6“) for improved handling and driving dynamics, particularly at higher speeds.
Three rows of seats – optionally available in premium LAVALINA leather – generously accommodate six or seven occupants. Elegant ALPINA refinements, such as the iDrive Controller in crystal glass with lasered ALPINA logo, contribute to an exquisite interior ambiance.
The full-colour digital instrument display with ALPINA design offers advanced configuration options, sport displays, and customisable views, and forms part of a large display combination with BMW’s traditional driver orientation.
