The 2020 Acura RLX is the company’s largest and most luxurious sedan. RLX have an impeccable reputation for reliability, good driving dynamics and a powerful set of engine choices. For 2020, the RLX is unchanged from last year, when it adopted a new look. A 10-speed automatic with Sequential SportShift technology is standard, and fuel economy is rated by the Environmental Protection Agency at 20 miles per gallon in the city, 29 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in combined driving.

The RLX Sport Hybrid uses the same gasoline engine but adds three separate motors for a net output of 377 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard. Fuel economy is vastly improved over the nonhybrid model, earning 28 mpg city/29 mpg hwy/28 mpg combined.

Acura makes active features standard, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and traffic-jam assist. A surround-view camera system, cooled front seats, and a Krell audio system all come with the hybrid model.

Inside the RLX’s nicely trimmed cabin, occupants will find plenty of space in both the front and the back. Leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats with heat, three-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, and a power sunroof come on all models.
