The fully faired middle- weight champion from Honda’s stable is all updated for 2022. The all new CBR500R gets dual front brake rotors with radial-mount Nissin calipers, as well as an inverted Showa SFF-BP fork, lightweight wheels and more.

2022 CBR500R is powered by a 471cc, 8-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine churning out 50 hp and 43 Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-speed transmission equipped with slip-and-assist clutch. Honda has updated the fuel injection settings of the parallel twin squeezing out more low end torque resulting in a smooth and linear delivery of power.

New CBR500R gets Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks, dual front disc brakes with radial-mounted calipers, a new lighter swingarm improving the handling, light weight radiator, updated rear shock settings and full LED lighting. A new front mud-guard, aluminum foot-pegs, lighter 5-spoke wheels and color LCD instrument display adds to the style.

The fun to ride CBR heavily influenced by Fireblade in styling is sharpened and given an aggressive makeover in order to win the hearts of young riders.
