Nissan Middle East unveiled today the all new Nissan Patrol NISMO through a virtual event at Expo 2020 Dubai.
This latest iteration of Nissan Patrol is a tribute to the legacy of Patrol as the off-road icon has completed 50 years and will be marketed exclusively in the Middle-east market.
All new Nissan Patrol NISMO is powered by the potent 5.6 liter V8 tuned to produce 428 horsepower, an increase of 28 horsepower compared to non NISMO models. Nissan says the tuning has been done by Nissan’s legendary Takumi craftsmen team, the same team hand crafted the Nissan GT-R engines at Nissan’s Yokohama engine plant.
It features a new honey comb V motion grille, new headlights and NISMO badged chrome horizontal lines. New addition is the LED rear fog lights seen in Nissan’s formula 1 car. Patrol NISMO is equipped with 22-inch, two-tone 2 tone aluminum wheels sporting NISMO logo, tuned Bilstein shock absorbers improving handling and comfort. NISMO red line wrap covers the circumference at the model’s base.
Patrol NISMO’s interior boasts pure luxury with a premium ambience. The seats are spacious, comfortable and crafted with premium Alcantara fabric with side leather. The black Alcantara steering wheel inspired by race cars having red carbon fiber inserts adds to the sportiness of the interior. Headrests are embossed with the signature NISMO logo. Improved cabin quietness by reducing frame vibrations.
A side duct has been added to the front bumper to achieve zero lift force and improve aerodynamics. The frame is more rigid and helps in handling at high speeds.
The 2021 Nissan Patrol NISMO sports upgraded Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Smart Rear View Mirror and a High Beam Assist. It also features Apple CarPlay compatibility, wireless charging capability and USB ports including USB-A and USB-C.
The 2021 Nissan Patrol NISMO is available in four exterior colors – namely White Pearl, Black Solid, and Grey and Silver metallic colors. New Patrol NISMO goes on sale from April 2021 at a starting price of AED 385,000 ($105,000) inclusive of taxes.
