Ducati’s “Fight Formula” is revived with the release of the brand-new Streetfighter V4, V4 S, and V4 SP2.

Ducati

Based on the Superbike Panigale V4, the Streetfighter V4 first debuted in 2020 and became an instant hit, setting new performance standards in the super sports naked sector. The Streetfighter V4 is essentially a Panigale V4 that has been stripped of its fairings for 2023. It is also outfitted with a 208 horsepower Desmosedici Stradale engine, biplane wings, an updated electronic system, high and wide handlebars, and—most importantly—an extremely light package.

The 2023 Streetfighter V4 is extremely stylish and has a V-shaped DRL that resembles the Panigale V4’s front aspect in addition to a full-LED front light. The Streetfighter V4’s low, forward-canted front adds to its ferocity by extending the tank’s strong lines.

The New Streetfighter’s 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine produces 123 Nm of torque and 208 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. The chassis sports an upside-down fork and a mechanically adjustable shock absorber on the V4, along with an aluminum Front Frame and single-sided swingarm. With its semi-active Ohlins suspension (NIX30 upside-down 43 mm fork and TTX36 shock absorber) and SmartEC 2.0 interface, the Streetfighter V4 S improves adaptability, efficiency, and setup time. The Marchesini forged aluminum alloy wheels on the V4 S variant provide improved handling and comfort.

The Streetfighter family receives an updated electronics package similar to the Panigale V4. Four engine settings are available: Full, High, Medium, and Low. With the exception of first gear, Full Power Mode enables the engine to operate at its maximum torque without electronic assistance. A unique Ride by Wire map management system has been devised for the High and Medium Power Modes with a specific calibration for each of the six gears, ensuring the rider gets the best acceleration every time the throttle is engaged. Low Power Mode limits the bike’s maximum power to 165 hp and provides a gentler, more controllable throttle response, making it ideal for riding on low-grip surfaces. New Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software, which increases stability and precision, is available in the Streetfighter. Every time the throttle is opened, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) enhances the fluidity of shifting.

Similar to the Panigale V4 of 2022, the fuel tank includes contours that are intended to better assist the rider during braking and cornering.

The matte black bodywork and matte carbon finish of the rims and wings of the Streetfighter V4 SP2 available in “Winter Test” livery, developed by Centro Stile Ducati and inspired by WorldSBK motorcycles, contrast with the bright red accents and the brilliance of the exposed brushed aluminum tank. The Brembo Stylema R front brake calipers, STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, adjustable machined aluminum footpegs that enhance the lean angle and enable the rider to find the ideal position while riding, a carbon front mudguard, and a carbon clutch cover round out the Streetfighter V4 SP2’s kit.

The 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in Ducati Red, the brand-new “Grey and Nero” livery (which will only be provided for the “S” version), and the Winter Test livery (which will only be available for the SP version).
